Hi, I’m Confidence Aguiyi

Confidence Aguiyi is a Lagos-based private tour guide and fixer offering authentic local tours across Nigeria, Ghana, Togo, Benin and other West African countries since 2009.

In 2009, as a passionate traveler and West Africa native, Confidence noticed a gap: the world knew about East and Southern Africa's safaris, but West Africa's culture, festivals and landscapes remained largely hidden to outside visitors. What started as small group tours in Nigeria grew into UcomeAfrik, a travel company now serving 10 countries — hosting travelers from 40+ countries, including researchers, media crews, photographers and curious adventurers.

He holds a BA in Mass Communication from Babcock University along with professional diplomas in Tour Guiding, Destination Management and Hospitality, and is a founding member of the Tour Guides Association of Nigeria (TOGAN).

His approach centers on authentic encounters that connect travelers with the people, traditions and landscapes of West Africa — personalized, immersive experiences focused on culture, history and local life, not a fixed group itinerary.
