A Few Words about Me
Confidence Aguiyi is a professional private guide and fixer for Lagos, Nigeria, Benin, Togo and Ghana with a deep knowledge of West Africa’s cultural landscapes and a passion for sharing them with others. His work spans Nigeria, Benin, Togo, Ghana, and beyond – countries rich with history, tradition, and diversity. Whether navigating the bustling streets of Lagos, tracing the roots of the Yoruba kingdoms, or walking through centuries-old shrines and sacred groves, Confidence brings a storyteller’s voice and a local’s insight to every experience.
A founding member of the Tour Guides Association of Nigeria (TOGAN), Confidence holds a BA in Mass Communication from Babcock University and has earned professional diplomas in Tour Guiding, Destination Management, and Hospitality from institutions in both Nigeria and Ghana. He has travelled widely across the West African coast and is continuously expanding his knowledge of the region through lived experience, fieldwork, and connection with local communities.
